Initial assessment with report
Initial assessments include a written report outlining your child’s speech, language and communication needs. Reports can be beneficial in helping your child’s educational setting understand and support their needs, as well as providing a formal statement of needs or evidence to support the Right to Choose pathway.
Therapy
Your therapist will collaborate with you to advise on the most beneficial therapy option following your child's initial assessment.

Standard/short therapy sessions
Standard therapy sessions are offered to children with speech sound difficulties and/or language difficulties. Standard therapy sessions are the most effective approach to supporting speech & language skills. [40 minutes]

Shorter therapy sessions are beneficial for children who may find longer sessions more challenging, for example due to attention or engagement difficulties. These shorter appointments also offer a convenient option for parents with time constraints.

Child-led therapy
sessions
Our child-led therapy sessions allow our therapists to attain ongoing language samples that determine individualised support. These play-based sessions focus on special interests, sensory preferences and fun motivators that allow us to build communicative foundations for your child. These sessions enable families to learn how they can best support social communication and emotional regulation in the wider environment. Our therapists will advise at the session whether this would be beneficial to your child.
